Humanities: Write a short (paragraph-length) personal reflection on your final mini project and presentation. These will be due (digitally or in written form) on Tuesday.
Math/Science: There will be one last quiz next week wrapping up our math concepts.

POLs: What do you need to prepare for our next practice tomorrow? Today, you spent some time preparing and editing a written speech that you will share at Presentations of Learning next Tuesday from 6:30-8PM. Focus your speeches on the why and the purpose behind these topics. Some of you started timing yourself by reading your script aloud and seeing where you stand with 30 seconds. Did you beat the timer? Did the timer beat you? If so, what does that mean from a presentation standpoint? We will continue our preparations tomorrow.

Humanities: Finish chapter five and read chapter six of Bridge to Terabithia. Write a short 3-5 sentence response (opinion, connection, etc.) or summary of your reading. We will share our responses tomorrow when we reading chapter seven as a group! Additionally, presentations for your final mini projects on Early and Ancient Civilizations begin tomorrow. Remember that your presentations need to answer your group’s three inquiry-based questions.
Math/Science: Brainteaser is due Friday. From 11-1 and 11-2, select the luckiest seven problems and see how you do with perimeter and area. Please also complete the Alternative Energies form for another simulation possibility.

Humanities: If you need extra time to work on your essay or your project piece, please spend some time this weekend. You will, however, have some time (20-30 minutes) in class on Tuesday to finalize your projects and presentations. Presentations will begin on Wednesday.
Math/Science: None!
Spanish: No hay tarea.
POLs: Today we divided up topics and e-mailed out the list. Over the next few days and into next week, please prepare a 30 second speech describing the basics (and details if you can fit those in!) of your particular topic. Looking forward to our next steps in the POL process!

Humanities: Prepare for your Spelling and Vocabulary Check! If you need extra time, you may continue working on your five-paragraph essays and Early Civilization mini projects. We will have project time in class tomorrow and perhaps some time Tuesday. Presentations will begin next week.
Math/Science: Tonight, practice drawing 3D figures with isometric paper! Select 8 from 10-8 as well. Hope you enjoyed our finished product with the solar ovens today as well.
Spanish: Escribe una frase para usar en clase mañana.
POL: Can you think of anything to add to the google doc? Please check it out whenever you have a chance- your input is greatly appreciated and needed!

Humanities: Please complete your essay rough drafts and share them with me by the end of the day. I will review those documents this evening and return them to you tomorrow!
Math/Science: (10-6) select seven problems to answer about triangles and their two kinds of classification (angles and sides). We will continue on with our conversation about alternative energies tomorrow, and hopefully create something to test out solar power!
Spanish: Repasa las palabras interrogativas.
Humanities: Continue to work on your Early Civilizations rough drafts. They will be due for review tomorrow during class. You are also responsible for your Weekly Word Study sheets and your vocabulary chart (there, they’re and their)
Math/Science: (10-4) select the lucky amount of seven problems to complete for homework tonight! Tomorrow we will distribute reboots and Mini-May science project feedback pieces.
Spanish: Repasa los usos de las palabras interrogativas.
Presentations of Learning: We will make some final decisions tomorrow on our presentation styles. See the attached pictures for our idea generation, and if you should come up with new ideas between now and tomorrow morning, feel free to write them down or e-mail your ideas to Sarah and Elizabeth.

Humanities: Complete your Early Civilizations outline. Your LC portfolios and project pieces should be completed by the end of the school day on Friday.
Math/Science: We will have a quiz tomorrow on concepts 9-3, 9-6, 9-8, and 10-1. Utilize your notes and the handout from today to prepare yourself. There is no minimum number of problems required for homework, however, do ask yourself what you want to do to feel best prepared for the quiz. Brainteaser is due tomorrow as well!

Attempt twelve problems on 10-1 Angles for math homework- we will continue talking about this concept tomorrow. We will also review for Friday’s quiz tomorrow. Brainteaser due Friday.

Humanities: Your notes for your Early Civilizations mini project are due at the end of the school day. Make sure to email, copy or share these documents with me so that I can review them in preparation for our five-paragrah essays.
Math/Science: Brainteaser is due Friday. There will be a quiz on Friday as well. Tonight’s homework is to do all of the probability problems on 9-8. We will spend the majority of our class time tomorrow sharing Mini May Science Projects.
